Once upon a time, I served God out of duty.  I felt it was what was right and I did want to please Him, whoever He was.  But somewhere along the journey of "doing" the "right" thing, I found Him and began to know His love, His voice, His heart and my duty quickly turned into a delight.  Now, I was no longer serving Him because I felt that I had to ("or else") but because I wanted to. 

Once I realized that He really does love me, that His love for me is personal and right now, that His heart and will for me is only good -- then I fell back in love with Him.  And now, the more that I pursue Him, the more that I get to know Him, the more that I sense His love and hear His voice, the more that I want Him even more. 

What was once "I love you because its right" is now "I'm in love with you and I never want to be apart from You.  I thank You that Your will for me is only good; take my heart, it's Yours, I'm Yours; cause my heart to be like Yours; let Your will be done in and through my life.  I want more of You!"

Through this blog, I will tell about my love story with God, how it came about, and what I am inspired to write through my experiences with Him.
